We have heard stories of leaders or prominent people we never could have imagined or guessed could fall to sin or their place of grace. They sometimes were the people we thought had it all together, the ones we thought were stronger and perhaps the people we look up to.
When they fell out of grace, we cringe and thought, “if they could, what better” and there will be a select few who may judge the strong ones thinking they should know better. As human as we are, we are bound to make mistakes. How privileged are we to serve a God full of mercy and grace. He is able to look pass our trespasses and gives us new grace every morning.
Would you focus on God’s finished work on the cross and accept His mercy upon your mistakes? This is His promise to us:
Isaiah 1:18
"Come now, let us settle the matter," says the LORD. "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.
