When it comes to expressing gratitude and thankfulness, I may not be the most expressive daughter but when I do, my parents always reciprocate my simple gestures in ways that it would bless me more than what I have given them.
A simple thank you or a smile of appreciation goes a long way. Isn’t this the same with our Heavenly Father? There is nothing that we could do to surpass what He could do for us.
A thankful heart or a simple heartfelt gratitude to God pleases Him. In return, in all His goodness, mercy and favor, He may cause the Heaven’s flood gate to shower us a season of blessing.
We are blessed with a wonderful God who is anxious to always bless us. The Bible says He looks for opportunity to bless us. It is in His will to see us live our life to the fullest so why don’t we start this day by giving him a prayer of thanksgiving with heartfelt gratitude.
A thankful heart goes a long way in the spiritual realm. It may be the very breakthrough you need.
1 Corinthians 2:9
However, as it is written: what no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived the things God has prepared for those who love Him.
