Sometimes, it is also hard to not view ourselves as the disadvantaged party or the victim of what life has thrown to us. Faith speaks its words and says you are an overcomer, that you are not a victim and that we can do all things, wait for it, not with our own strength but through Christ who strengthens us.
It also speaks of promises that God would restore your lost (Joel 2: 25 – 32) and you would be able to come out better, stronger, wiser and excel far more exceedingly, abundantly and beyond what we could hope for (Ephesians 3: 20). That is faith, it speaks of its trust through the sovereignty of our Lord being our helper.
This is to encourage everyone that God is able to turn all things for good for those who love Him (Romans 8: 28). It starts with faith as little as a mustard seed.
Romans 8: 28
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose
