Back to my free thinker days, I had bad experiences with Christians. One was my relative and another was my superior. Occasionally they invited me to church and I would join them.
Both of them were alike, they liked to bad mouth others and do things such as picking up a regular fight with a family member.
When I saw how their lifestyle was, I often had the thought, “What is so good about being a Christian? I just don't see any good quality in these Christians. They are hypocrites. ", and that thought had hindered me to turn to Christ.
Years then passed and finally I found Christ to be real in my life. I was in the lowest valley of my life and a group of God fearing Christians approached me and led me to accept Christ as my Lord and Savior. I was assured that God loves me very much and He is truly God, and since then my life was changed.
As God's children, we are asked to imitate Christ ( Eph 5 : 1 ) and be an example ... in word , in conduct, in spirit, in life, in love, in faith and in purity ( 1 Tim 4 : 12 ).
The world is judging us by the way we live as we are like an open letter from Christ that is known and read by everybody. When we live a godly life and as the Spirit leads, we can make a difference that will draw others to Christ.
Let's live out our lives in alignment with the Word of God to be Christ like in order to set good examples and shine like the sun in the kingdom of our Father ( Matthew 13 : 43 ). Hallelujah!
