With those struggles, comes the ever present temptation to quit. But I want to encourage you: don’t quit. You may be knocked down but through God’s power and grace, you can always get back up and keep going. The Holy Spirit that came into your life when you were born again is not the spirit of a quitter. If you will walk close to Jesus, He will strengthen you.
Good people fall, Godly people make mistakes and mature Christians have setbacks but through the power of Holy Spirit, they get back up and go at it again. You’re not a failure when you fall, you’re only a learner. You haven’t been knocked out, only knocked down. You will be able to get up again and eventually win.
All the great men and women of the Bible – all of them – faced obstacles and challenges. The thing that made them great was that they refused to quit and the thing that will make you great is refusing to quit.
Proverbs 24:16
For though a righteous man falls seven times, he rises again, but the wicked are brought down by calamity.
