In Mark 5:35, we read the story of Jesus raising a dead girl. When other people perceived the fact that the girl has died, Jesus verbalized HIS faith by saying, “the child is not dead but sleeping.”
Whilst others uttered negativities, Jesus didn’t addressed the bad news bearers but HE spoke positively to create an atmosphere of faith around HIM; HE was careful to not let any of the mourners and wailers’ words kill the atmosphere of faith.
It is important to understand that our words are able to affect the outcome of our circumstances.We ought to create an atmosphere of faith where we invite God’s supernatural power to work through our beliefs.
Words aren’t just mere sounds or noise; it has the power of life and death. So choose your words carefully. Don’t use your words to describe negative realities but use your words to create your desired reality.
