May your spirit know this perseveringly, that even in silence, God is working. He is working to restore our lost and aligning things to work for our good. As the days lead to Christmas, we can adopt an expectant attitude that God is going to come through for us.
Christmas is not about a tradition nor a shopping frenzy or a plethora of gatherings. Christmas is about a promise fulfilled. The season of Advent expectantly wait for a miracle to be birthed unto the world and on Christmas day, we celebrate the best gift every sinner could receive – the fulfillment of God’s promise: A savior was born. This is the very evidence that our Father in Heaven does what He promises.
The blessing which our Father promises upon us is sure to come. So this Christmas, strengthen yourselves daily with His words and praise Him as though the promise you held on has indeed been fulfilled.
Galatians 4: 4 - 5
But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to Sonship.
