Let’s try to look at the story from the Israelites' point of view at that time.
Here you are, staring at this big Red Sea and its tides. You look behind and you could see Pharaoh and his armies coming after you at a high speed. You are trapped and you have nowhere to go. You cried out to God and you wondered why HE has driven you to this impossible situation, you start to think that it is HIS will to see you suffer.
Maybe this is your situation and you feel that there is no way out. Be encouraged, God has not brought you this far to abandon you. HE will make a way when there is no way.
As you read the story on, you realized that nothing happened until Moses moved forward and used the staff that God has given him. I encourage you to use what God has given you and watch HIS supernatural intervention. HE has given you HIS words; words that will never fail you and when you declare HIS words over your circumstances, HIS words shall move the mountains and part your Red Sea.
So I say to you (and myself) as God said to Moses, “Why do you cry? Move forward” - (Exodus 14:15).
For God says, “Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” (Isaiah 43:19)
