Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me (Matthew 5:11)
Christian life is not always easy. There is no promise for instant success or prosperity or fame but a reminder that the world might not appreciate our faith and values thus we are to persevere and remember that the world is not our home (Hebrew 13:14).
God put us here for a purpose. Just as God sent Jesus to this world, Jesus sent us to the world to proclaim the good news. But Jesus does not always send us to prosperity; instead He is sending us out like lambs among wolves. He is sending us to a mission: to give the world an everlasting salvation. If we find ourselves in a safety zone, probably it is time for us to ask ourselves if it is where God wants us to be.
Our Heavenly Father has sent Jesus on the rescue mission; as a lamb among the wolves to save us from the sins of the world. To bestow to us undeserving grace so we could approach His throne freely. We too could extend the invitation of salvation that Jesus has given us to our own world.
Persevere and keep on proclaiming the good news of the Gospel. When people falsely accuse you because of your faith and values, Jesus calls you blessed so be comforted dear friends. God is worthy of all praises and He will strengthen you to bring salvation to the lost in this world.
