The story of Easter reminds us of more than just Easter bunnies and chocolate gifts, it serves as a reminder of much more – that we are redeemed and set free. Through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, we have been gifted with a new life abounding in grace, mercy and love.
There is such power in the gift of Easter:
God sent His only Son as the atonement of our sins.
He loved and we are redeemed
He gave and we are free
May we look at the suffering of the cross with the great hope “it is finished!” Death has lost its sting. Praise the Lord for making all things new!
