When we read the Scripture, we are assured that what we read does not come merely from men’s writing but from God’s truth Himself. True enough, the Bible were written by different prophets, apostles and men but what was written does not come from the men’s limited perspective nor it originated from their own imagination. These men/ prophets were a vessel of God’s truth; moved by Holy Spirit. They were men who spoke from God; moved by the Holy Spirit word by word.
God did not simply reveal truth and knowledge to these men and leave them in anticipation they would communicate God’s message accurately to generations to come. God knows men’s flaws thus the very communicating and writing of the Bible were carried by the Holy Spirit. The making of the Bible was not left to mere human knowledge nor skills, Holy Spirit carried it to full completion.
Are you encountering difficulties in hearing God speak to you? Let’s open the Bible. It is filled with His truth; ponder on it and hear God speak to you.
2 Peter 20 – 21
Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation of things. For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
