From the 11 verses, I would like to highlight three verses:
Verse 5: “Master,” Simon replied, “we worked hard all last night and didn’t catch a thing. But if you say so..."
Verse 8: “When Simon Peter realized what had happened, he fell to his knees before Jesus...”
Verse 11: “And as soon as they landed, they left everything and followed Jesus.
From these three verses, there are four lessons from Jesus’ Disciples:
Humility—Although the disciples were already fishing the whole night and they were tired, moreover they were experts in their professions. They were humble to listen and obey Jesus’ order. Some of us might be too proud to follow others whom we think they are not more capable than us, moreover, in a situation when we have tried a long time and became exhausted.
Humility is a character that God hopes every one of His followers wear.
