Luke 5:11 - “And as soon as they landed, they left everything and followed Jesus.”
“As soon as” - Immediate response
Immediate response - following Jesus should not be delayed. The disciples as we know, were fishing and we could imagine how dirty and unprepared they were. However, the bible noted “as soon as”, which means at that moment or immediately, they left everything and followed Jesus.
We should do the same thing, commit to follow Jesus is not to be delayed, but should be of immediate response.
