This is the same with life. Life can sometimes throw you curved balls, unexpected challenges or disappointments. The darker and the more hopeless your situation looks, the more important it is for you to walk out of the darkness into light. The bible promises Jesus to be that light, and it is for this reason that we are asked to always keep our eyes on Him. In fact, Peter even walked on waters until he took his eyes off Jesus.
Christ is our reminder that we are no longer under law but under Grace. Sins are no longer imputed on us and what seemed impossible (like walking on water) is possible now because what is impossible with man is possible with God!
If you are discouraged or in a darker stage of your life, I encourage you to press on to His love for you. Keep your eyes on Him, for He is the light who will sustain you, lead you, provide for you, and protect you.
Luke 18:27
Jesus replied, "What is impossible with men is possible with God."
