Sometimes we may look at the new year with jaded eyes. Perhaps the last year wasn't as great as we had imagined. Perhaps we may feel unfulfilled or just a step short of our potential...
Issac Newton once said "I was like a little boy playing on the seashore, and diverting myself and now and then finding a smoother pebble or a prettier shell than ordinary, while the great ocean of truth lay all undiscovered before me." And that is what limited thinking does; it holds us back in the place we were last year, while our almighty God has a limitless plan for each one of us!
No matter what our age, you have been given a precious gift - a fresh new year. 2013 can be the year of your breakthrough, it can be a year of success, of victory, of new ideas, another step closer to achieving who you are called to be.
Let me challenge you to write down 3 areas where you feel limited, fearful, inadequate or have failed. Continually surrender these areas to God and declare His word and promises over these areas, and see 2013 bring breakthrough. Let's remember, as children of a limitless God, we too are limitless!

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
