True enough, wise saying says “everytime life knocks you down, you must get back on your feet.” but words are easier to utter than actually doing the hard yard of really getting back on your feet. I find it difficult to rise after a failure or a setback. It is easier to be disappointed and discouraged. Why wouldn’t I? My common excuse would be "No one is here to support and encourage me, no one is helping me to get back on my feet. I would like to get back on my feet, but I just have no strength...".
During most of these discouraging times, I struggle and forget that the best help comes from the Lord. Isaiah 43:19 reminds us that our God is a God of newness, of fresh beginnings. He is the God who makes a way even in the most impossible situations.
So, if you're trying to rise up again and have a fresh start after some difficult times, don't give in to excuses and struggle alone; the Lord is present and you are not alone. Never stop hoping in the Lord, rise up and know He will send the help you need.
Isaiah 43:19
Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
