
A part of me wishes to find a footing of my faith in this secular world. There must be a way whereby God has imprint His sovereignty that even secular scholars could not argue against. Then that day came, upon reading an encyclopedia of Bible related articles, I found the author wrote, “In all the inevitable questioning over the biblical account of the resurrection of Jesus, one fact seems beyond dispute: Jesus’ disciples were prepared to stake their lives on its veracity.” The author goes on stating his wonder on the fact that this martyrdom still continues down through the ages. His scholarly attempt to debunk this power seems to elude him.
Jesus is not a mythological deity that we pray to, He is alive and He still reigns. Not only He rose from the dead, but He now lives in every heart that invites Him in. And because He lives, there is no questioning that He is ever present in our lives and is at full work in bringing the completion of His promises in our lives.
Ephesians 3: 16 - 17
I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love.
