If your thoughts over the last week were recorded, would you want to play it back for others? If you're anything like me, it's definitely a big, fat NO WAY! Yet, doesn't it show how much of our thinking needs to be erased, reformatted, rejuvenated, replaced or revived? Our thoughts need to be based on the truth alone!
Many of us want to live in the best place in life - in the will of God. Yet, this can only happen when we are transformed. And how are we transformed? By renewing of our mind. And how can we renew our minds? First, get to know the CHARACTER and attitudes of Christ. Second, pursue and desire God to REVEAL Himself. He can work through nature, scriptures, or people. Thirdly, discipline or TRAIN our minds towards Godliness (I challenge myself not to complain!). Lastly, leave behind procrastinations or daydreams of an idle mind and have a mind focused and STEADFAST on Christ and His ways!
Col 3:2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.
Phil 4:8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.
