CS Lewis wrote in one of his book, “My people have a law never to speak of sizes or numbers to you… It makes you do reverence to nothings and pass by what is really great.” Though our culture does say success is measured by size and impact, do not let it discourage your act of services in small places, we must not pass by what is really great.” The smallest act of obedience you do in service to Christ matters, I believe God does not to focus on the numbers of work we do for Him but He seeks a faithful servant in all that they do and only then God will multiply your works.
Let not numbers or size of our services to the Lord be the basis for our own self esteem but let our act of services come true from a servant heart glorifying God in the even the smallest place He position us in. There is value and purpose in the small that we do for the Lord.
Zechariah 4:10
Do not despise these small beginnings, for the LORD rejoices to see the work begin…
