“Rain, rain, go away.” Despite being a winter person, I have to admit that there are days where I dread the stormy winter days.
It is the day you wouldn’t want to picture yourself catching the bus but there I was, struggling to open up my umbrella. A fellow traveler asked, “Should we just stay and wait for the rain to cease?”
“No, let’s be an eagle today! Let’s run,” was my reply.
Would you run? Would you soar above the storms in your life and not allow it to weaken your faith in pursuing the future God has for you? Even when everything seems discouraging, would you press on?
Jesus promises us that HE will renew our strength when we put our trust in HIM. He will cause us to soar on wings like eagle. “Why an eagle?” you asked.
When a storm comes, other birds hide but not the eagles. Eagles are made for storms, they soar. The stronger the storm, the higher the eagle will soar. All they do is spread their wings and the wind will carry them higher above the storm.
Take God at HIS words and let HIM be the wind that carries us above your storm. Trust HIM and press forward.
