What have you been saying about your situation? When there is pain in your body, don’t say, “It is God’s will for me to fall sick,” instead turn your words around and say “by Jesus stripes I’m healed. In times of recession like this, if you lost your job, don’t say, “God has punished me to keep me humble.” Instead you can say, “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.” And if you think your life has been filled by a series of failures, don’t say, “God doesn’t care that I’m hurting.” Instead, say, “Lord I believe that my future can be greater than my past, Your plan is to prosper me and not to harm me.”
We are living in the world that offers no hope to the afflicted but we need not conform to the ways of the world and speak negatively. Jesus’ words offer comfort and hope; it will equip our emotions to reign over these things.
Find out what God’s word says about your situation. Speak HIS reality into your situation. God’s word can’t return to HIM void, declare it and confess it till it comes to pass.
Isaiah 55:11
So is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
