These bible characters seemed to have it all but before their callings were fulfilled, Moses fled to the desert for 40 years, Joseph was sold to slavery and David almost lost his sanity when King Saul tried to kill him.
In our human eyes, they might not have what it takes to be a leader nor a king but who are we to say? They rose up to their callings, persevered and found God. The rest is history.
We don’t always have to know how to do things or be fully qualified in everything HE calls us to do. HE will enable us to do our parts. God seeks a willing heart not a person who is able.
In our weakness, we will see HIS strength glorified.
1Corinthians 1: 27
But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.
2 Corinthians 12:9
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.
