Do you know the story of the wedding feast in Cana of Galilee? The master of the banquet made a remark about Jesus that describes HIS heart for us.
“Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink; but you saved the best till now.” (John 2:10)
What a beautiful assurance to know that God will serve the best wine even at the end of the banquet. The end of a thing is better than its beginning in Heaven’s language. If your beginning doesn’t seem significant, it doesn’t matter; what matter is the ending.
The best wine is yet to be served and I can say with confidence that Jesus has greater things just ahead of you.
Ecclesiastes 7:8
