Maybe you have not fully utilize all the talents God has put in your life due to fear of failures, social pressure or fear of others’ disapproval, confusion or even procrastination; just to name a few. That certainly may happen and acceptable to a point but will you decide to utilize your God given talents? Failure to invest represents the most serious potential shortfall of all. Only when we exercise our faith, we stand a chance of growing but if we don’t exercise our faith, it will become stagnant. Would you want to resign to have lifeless faith and expect nothing but a mundane life to get by everyday?
Jesus has given us talents to multiply for the glory of His Kingdom; to preach the good news of hope and faith through our works not just words. Multiply your talents and watch Him make your faith grow exponentially to the life and growth He desires you to embrace.
Matthew 25:14-18
Again, it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted his wealth to them. To one he gave five bags of gold, to another two bags, and to another one bag, each according to his ability. Then he went on his journey. The man who had received five bags of gold went at once and put his money to work and gained five bags more. So also, the one with two bags of gold gained two more. But the man who had received one bag went off, dug a hole in the ground and hid his master’s money.
