Everything big begins with something small. Elijah saw a cloud the size of a man’s palm ( 1 Kings 18:44) but it led to a big rain that Elijah expected; he did not dismissed the small cloud but he rejoiced over it because he believed it was a promise of something bigger to come.
When God gives you a seed, be it a heart for a specific ministry, an idea or just a simple gesture to smile at someone, do so. Take the seed, plant it and believe God for the growth/ increase.
You can be content with small beginning because it is God who multiplies the seed as long as you take the step of faith. A well known pastor started his church with just 10 regulars, which include the musicians on the stage. He was disheartened but he continued on giving sermon every week; he planted the seed and prayed. Now he has a large outreach ministry and the once small church now has three services every Sunday.
Do not be quick to dismiss a small beginning; do not cast away a small seed for it has a potential for a great harvest and furthermore, what God starts, HE promises to finish.
Philippians 1:6
He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
