When Jesus performed the miracle on lake Gennesaret, Peter was overwhelmed and he immediately fell to his knees, saying, “Depart from me, for I’m a sinful man, O Lord (Luke 5:8). An experienced fisherman like Peter knew the sea too well to be certain that there was no natural explanation for their extraordinary catch or ‘gift’. Peter immediately felt unworthy and requested Jesus to depart from him.
But did Jesus leave? No He didn’t. Jesus even promised Peter than he would be the rock on which He would built His church upon. Though Peter denied Jesus three times on the day of crucifixion, Jesus still didn’t reject Peter. He specifically singled out Peter’s name after His resurrection - “But go, tell My disciples and Peter…” (Mark 16:7)
Let Jesus love you the way He love Peter. You are good enough to receive His love and goodness ; don’t push Him away. Peter thought he was unworthy but Jesus did not. Peter was enough, so are you. Don’t allow the worldly standards or anyone steal your God given identity. Be confident because it is God who affirms your identity.

For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving
