It was a long way to go before He reached the Calvary’s Hill. Even from the beginning, He chose to cover our shame and sin because of His love.
He asked me to deny and sacrifice myself, but He prepared for me the perfect sacrifice. He asked me to come to Him, but He is the One who stretches His arm to reach and to hold me. He wanted me to trust and obey Him, but He was the One who first believed that His sacrifice for me was not in vain.
They hung Him with the thieves, but He is the greatest thief who stole my heart because He first love me with an everlasting love. They said that He blasphemed God’s name, but He is the One who can forgive sin.
There are lots of good and kind teachers. There are many prophets who performed miracles. But there is only HIM who can and is willing to redeem us by His blood and His tears.
If the world believes that no pain is no gain, I believe that without Christ, there will be no cross. Without cross means that there will be no forgiveness of sin. No forgiveness of sin will lead to a life without hope and life without hope will be not worth living, in the end life will mean nothing.
Everything is about Him and everything is from Him. He is the God who cares enough for us to come to this earth as a man, bear HIS cross for us to have an abundant life. He has done all and all is perfected done by HIM. It is finished.
Matthew 26:53-54
Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels? But how then would the Scriptures be fulfilled that say it must happen in this way?”
